Do

  • Keep on for 2-3 days unless otherwise instructed or an allergic reaction occurs. Redness on the actual tattoo is normal as is the presence of blood/plasma/ink.

NOTE: An allergic reaction will look like redness on the outer edge of the bandage or red splotching. If it is left on for too long, this can lead to blistering/rashes.

  • Remove bandage in the shower, pulling up and out to loosen the adhesive. You might see an imprint of your tattoo on the bandage, this is normal.

  • Give your tattoo a gentle wash with unscented soap. Pat dry with clean paper towel/regular towel.

  • If the bandage comes off earlier than 2 days, give your tattoo a wash every other hour or so. Unscented baby wipes can be used in a pinch if you are not able to access a clean sink.

Your tattoo is considered healed after 2-3 weeks when all of your peeling is gone although technically it won't be fully settled in for a few months. If your design has healed lighter than you would like or patchy, please reach out for a touchup.

Do

  • Keep your bandage on for 3-4 hours.

  • Gently wash your tattoo upon removal, being careful to wash every other hour or so for the first 2-3 days. Be mindful of oozing as this can dry on as a hard scab.

  • Pat dry with a clean paper towel/regular towel.

  • If you are unable to regularly wash, unscented baby wipes can be used.

  • Keep clean and dry for the remainder of the heal.

Please seek medical attention if you experience any unusual symptoms or concerns.

Do Not

  • Soak/submerge your bandage or tattoo. Bandage is water resistant, not water proof. This will introduce bacteria leading to an infection.

  • Poke holes in it; air bubbles will cause no harm.

  • Tan/swim for the next two-three weeks.

  • Pick/scratch or peel. Your tattoo will start to flake like a sunburn and might look a little light, this is normal. Ink can be pulled out if the peeling isn't left to fall off naturally.

  • Over lotion! This can create a wet wound that can prolong healing and lead to complications with scabbing. If you are going to use lotion, use a pea-sized amount twice a day.

  • Let pets lick or scratch your tattoo. Pet dander is a big cause of infections.

  • Cover with seran wrap after removing your bandage.

Do Not

  • Same as the top.
